FosterClub is proud to announce a new leadership development opportunity for youth
Now you can partner with The FosterClub All-American Program to invest in your emerging young leaders. The Program, designed for organizations who want to initiate a youth leadership board or enhance the skills of an existing group, employs youth–to-youth peer training for a proven effective way to develop public speaking and leadership skills for youth in care. The outstanding and accomplished former foster youth, our FosterClub All-Stars, provide in-depth leadership training customized for young people emancipating from the system. The Program can be delivered on-site to groups of up to 24 youth.
Leadership sessions are customized to meet the needs of your group and will include a variety of relevant topics. In one specially designed FosterClub session, “training of trainers”,young participants are granted the right to present the workshop at local venues. Attendees in the FosterClub All-American Program sessions will begin the process of becoming "Certified FosterClub All Americans" and work arm-in-arm with the FosterClub All-Stars to improve foster care across America and in their own home towns.
This leadership Program hinges upon supportive adults and sponsoring organizations. A parallel track of training for the adults in youth/adult partnerships is provided and should be taken by adults in your organization in conjunction with youth leadership training. This adult training ensures success of the All American Program, may be required for your youths to achieve “Certified FosterClub All-Americans”.
